Terms and conditions

This outline of hunting conditions represents part of the terms of transaction stipulated in the foresight of the disposition no. 516/12.04.2005 in concordance with Romania’s Government Decree no 107 / 1999 regarding tourist packages commercialization, approved with modifications and completions by the Law no. 631/2001, with the subsequent modifications.
The contract can be presented as a catalogue or pamphlet or any other document. 

• PAYMENT OF THE RESERVATION DEPOSIT CONSTITUTES CLIENT’S ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET OUT HEREIN.
• Presale invoice must be paid by the term of payment indicated on the invoice. 
• If the customer has not paid the invoice by the term of payment, Hunting Trasylvania shall have the right to cancel the reservation. 

We require a deposit of 100 EURO per person for a hunt. Final payment is due no later than 60 days prior to departure. If your reservation is made within 60 days of departure, the entire cost of the trip must be paid at the time of confirmation.
If the customer wishes in addition to accommodation to use other services (hunting management, hunting permit, event, catering, hunting expedition, etc.), Hunting Transylvania shall make the customer the corresponding offer.
After the reservation has been made (or the customer has confirmed the offer), the customer shall receive a presale invoice for the payment of ordered services according to the following procedure. Presale invoices shall be paid by the term of payment indicated on the invoice. After the presale invoice has been paid, the customer shall receive information from order-form for the confirmation of order and the contact details of hostess/ host. After the provision of service (including the additional services provided on the spot), a final invoice is issued to the customer within 3 working days.
Hunting Transylvania shall have the right to alter effective price lists.

2. Client’s right to cancel the reservation

The client is at all time entitled to cancel the Hunting Contract, but must pay Hunting Transylvania a cancellation charge as stipulated below:
60 days or more prior to departure 50 EURO per person / per hunt cancellation fee;
60–31 days will be subject to 25% of Hunt price;
30 days or less will be subject to 95% of tour price.

All these cancellation fees CAN be removed by Hunting Transylvania.

3. Owner’s right to cancel the reservation

Hunting Transylvania shall have the right to cancel the reservation due to Force Majeure (natural disasters, high fire hazard of forests, strikes, etc.); in such a case Hunting Transylvania shall inform the customer as quickly as possible. In such a case the customer is entitled to the reimbursement of the total paid amount. Other possible expenses that the customer may have incurred shall not be compensated.

If the client has not paid the tour fare when due, Hunting Transylvania reserves the right to cancel the reservation. In such cases, the clients shall pay Hunting Transylvania the applicable cancellation charges.

In any of the following cases, Hunting Transylvania may cancel the Travel Contract and  without making any refunds:
a)  When it becomes evident that the client does not meet the requirements of a tour (such as sex, age, qualification, skill) or other requirements specified by Hunting Transylvania for participation to the hunt.
b)  When there is evidence that the client threatens to cause other participants embarrassment or inconvenience, or might otherwise interfere with the smooth performance of the collective activities of the tour.
d)  When the client is recognized as unfit to join the tour owing to illness or for other reasons.
e)  For late arrivals at the airport or departure point, incomplete or inaccurate information, lack of legal papers or border rejection.

4. Special Conditions of Tour Application

Special Requests such as smoking/non-smoking, adjacent or connecting rooms and special dietary needs should be advised at time of booking. Please note that every effort will be made to secure your special request; however, these requests cannot be guaranteed.

5. Compensation of damages

The customer shall compensate Hunting Transylvania for damages caused by him/her in the process of using the furnishings and equipment of the lodge not according to their intended purpose. Before the customer leaves, a damage report is prepared that will be bilaterally signed. If the customer’s wrongful act has caused damage to the lodge, the corresponding expert assessment is ordered; all costs related to the restoration of the former condition of the lodge shall be incurred by the customer.

6. Settlement of disputes

All disputes shall be settled by negotiations, if no agreement is reached in course of negotiations, the disputes shall be settled in the manner prescribed by law.

7. Other comments

Hunting Transylvania is not obligated to compensate the customer for damages or costs that have arisen from natural conditions, like mosquitoes, gadflies, ants, mice, etc. The risk of suitability or unsuitability of weather conditions shall be borne by the customer.
